The Kahu (Maori for "Hawk") was a mini-unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) developed by Skycam UAV NZ for the New Zealand Defense Force (NZDF).
The air vehicle was constructed from composite materials. The airframe was designed to minimize drag and maximize endurance and its environmental operating envelope. The Kahu featured a 1,200-Watt electric motor, unique cooling mount and a design pitot static sensor for measurement of air data even in light rain, according to the manufacturer....
