The Fox was a basic unmanned aerial vehicle used for short-range battlefield surveillance.
A Fox could be launched from a truck-mounted catapult. It used a skid to land for recovery. Launch and recovery required a small team of three people.
The air vehicle had four hardpoints on its wings. The sensor payload included a day video camera; optional infrared video camera; optical chemical detector; Geiger counter; and meteorological systems.
