The ASN-15 is a lightweight, hand-launched unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) used for battlefield reconnaissance and surveillance, routine patrol and search and rescue. It is similar in concept to the U.S. Pointer system (see separate database record). The system was developed from the earlier ASN-1, with which it shares its basic configuration.
