SB9 Stormer

The Stormer SB9 was a surveillance aircraft developed from the SB7L-360A Seeker aircraft. The Stormer was to offer a cost-effective, fixed-wing alternative to the militarized helicopter for operations in hostile environments.

Typical mission profiles would include armed border and coastal surveillance and interdiction, military reconnaissance and liaison, as well as offering an introduction to attack helicopter weapon systems and flight handling.
