The Seabird Seeker is a light observation aircraft originally developed for civilian use in Australia. Two examples were delivered to the re-established Iraqi air force in July 2004 for low, slow patrolling of such national assets as oil pipelines and main supply routes.
Designed from the outset to compete with helicopters in such areas as maneuverability and ease of observation, the Seeker has a high-wing, pod-and-boom layout driven by a pusher propeller.
