Z-19 Black Whirlwind

The Z-19 Black Whirlwind is a 4-ton light attack and reconnaissance helicopter based on the Z-9 utility helicopter. The export variant is designated the Z-19E. It is designed for missions include reconnaissance, ground attack, counter-air, low-level air superiority and escorting friendly helicopters. It is also expected to be deployed in hunter-killer teams with the Z-10 attack helicopter.
