The Ka-60 Kasatka (Killer Whale) is a Russian multipurpose helicopter intended for landing troops, delivering weapons and ammunition, the evacuation of wounded personnel, patrol from air bases or ships and for helicopter flight training.

The name has been variously rendered in English (as "Kasatka" and "Kacatka") and translated as both "killer whale" and "swallow." See "Notes," below. Kamov designates the aircraft on its English-language website as the "Kasatka (Killer Whale)."
