The Dhruv (Pole Star) advanced light helicopter (ALH) is a multi-role helicopter built by Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL) with assistance from Messerschmitt-Bolkow-Blohm (MBB, now part of Deutsche Aerospace and the Eurocopter Consortium). The helicopter is intended for the Indian army, air force and navy.
