The Il-28 Beagle is a twin-engine light bomber, the first to be mass-produced by the former Soviet Union. It was the counterpart to the British Canberra. It was also adapted as a maritime strike and as a trainer aircraft. The Soviet-built versions have been withdrawn from service, though a few others may be usable.
