The Jaguar is a joint British-French design and production effort originally intended as a trainer with light attack capability. It has proved highly effective in the latter role. The airframe is of aluminum construction with an aerial refueling probe located on the starboard side of the front. The shoulder-mounted wing has some anhedral and 36 degrees of sweep at the quarter chord. The outer section of the leading edge is an extensible slat, creating a "dogtooth" that delays stall....
