The AT-3 Tzu-Chiang is a light ground attack aircraft and advanced trainer that was produced in Taiwan because many other nations would not sell their aircraft to Taipei for fear of offending rival Beijing. It has also been used in the electronic countermeasures (ECM), night surveillance and maritime reconnaissance roles. The name of the aircraft has also been rendered as Tse-Tchan.
