USSPACECOM Stands Up

Brig. Gen. Brook Leonard, the U.S. Space Command chief of staff,
and other USSPACECOM personnel salute Gen. John Raymond,
the USSPACECOM chief, on Sept. 9, during a ceremony at Peterson
Air Force Base, Colo., marking the activation of the new command.
USSPACECOM, the military's 11th combatant command, is in charge
of all operations at altitudes greater than 62 miles above sea level.
