On Feb. 27, Polisario Front group in the disputed Western Sahara region celebrated the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Sahrawi Arab  Democratic Republic (SADR). Polisario has been seeking independence for Western Sahara since the end of Spanish colonization in the 1970s,  while Morocco has claimed sovereignty over it. After decades of little  progress, Morocco appears to increasingly be winning de facto support  for its claims. Above, people watch a parade during celebrations...
