The Switchblade unmanned aerial vehicle, which weighs less than 6 pounds, is a
miniature intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platform that can be operated
manually or autonomously. It is also lethal, employing a small warhead said to produce
very low collateral damage. The UAV is made by AeroVironment in Monrovia, Calif.
