Facing Potential Russian Aggression, Poland Pushes Back

Poland has awarded Lockheed Martin with a US$250 million contract to supply its
air force with JASSM long-range air-to-surface missiles. The stealthy cruise missile
is shown above at Poland’s annual MSPO defense exposition. During the signing
ceremony in December, Poland’s Defense Minister Tomasz Siemoniak stated that
never before in the nation’s history “have we had such a modern weapon."
