The first ministerial meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Forum between Gulf
Cooperation Council (GCC) member states and the United States was concluded
in Riyadh. Saudi Arabia, in late March. Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal,
the Saudi foreign minister and chairman of the GCC Ministerial Council, led the GCC delegation,
while Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, center, headed the U.S. side.
