Clouded Future For Russian Military Aviation

Russia continues to tout new combat aircraft programs, but
at the latest MAKS exhibition in Moscow in late August, there
was little to show. Rostec revealed only export variants of its
advanced Su-57 fighter jet and Il-112V light transport. For the
foreseeable future, the Russian air force will rely on upgrades
of existing aircraft designs, including the Su-34 strike jet and
Su-35 fighters and a small fleet of Su-57s, as shown above.
