The Sea Hunter, a 140-ton unmanned surface vehicle, represents the U.S.
Navy's initial foray into large, autonomous vehicles. Developed by the
Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the project was transferred
to the Office of Naval Research in January 2018. Testing has focused on its
