Zinjibar Retaken From Al-Qaida Fighters

A militant-held city in southern Yemen has been recaptured by government forces.

At least 52 Al-Qaida militants were killed in a government assault on Tuesday in Zinjibar, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Security forces have gained control of large swaths of the capital of Abyan province, military officials said.
