More than 40 people were arrested Monday during violent protests in Athens, Reuters reports.
The violence grew from rallies marking the anniversary of the 2008 police killing of a teenager
Three people were injured as clashes spread through the Greek capital, security officials said.
Several hundred hooded youths were seen throwing firebombs and stones at police in full riot gear, who retaliated with teargas and percussion bombs.
