Young Gbagbo Supporters Assail U.N. Forces, Mediator

A group of young supporters of embattled Ivory Coast President Laurent Gbagbo have attacked U.N. peacekeepers who were guarding an African Union mediator, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga, a mediator for the A.U., arrived in Abidjan on Monday to meet with Gbagbo and his rival Alassane Ouattara.
A U.N. Security Council resolution has recognizes Gbagbo's opponent, former Prime Minister Alassane Ouattara, as the election winner.
