The Central Intelligence Agency is said to be constructing a covert base in the Middle East to host armed drones that will be used to strike targets in Yemen, the New York Times reports, citing an unnamed American official.
Previous reports have indicated that the agency is planning to conduct UAV strikes against Al-Qaida targets in southern Yemen.
