Yanukovych Calls For More Cooperation With U.S., Russia

President Viktor Yanukovych says Ukraine should have closer strategic relations with the United States, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).

"Strategic cooperation between Ukraine and the United States is an imperative of the modern times," he said. "Ukraine stands ready for more extensive relations and mutually advantageous economic, political, cultural and security projects."
