World Health Organization Again Declares Liberia Free Of Ebola

The World Health Organization has declared Liberia free of the Ebola virus, officially ending a two-year long epidemic, reports Deutsche Welle.
The WHO, a United Nations agency, announced on Thursday that Libera, the last country affected by the virus, had been cleared after 42 days without a new case of Ebola.
Liberia was also declared free of Ebola in May and September 2015. New infections emerged each time.
