The U.N. World Food Program has begun sending emergency supplies to areas in Afghanistan hard hit by an earthquake earlier this week, reports the Ariana News (Afghanistan).
Eighteen trucks carrying emergency supplies, storage units and food for 3,000 households have been sent to the eastern Paktika and Khost province, which experienced a 6.1-magnitude earthquake on Wednesday.
