India is continuing to work on increasing the range of the BrahMos cruise missile, reports the Print (New Delhi).
On Tuesday, India conducted a ground launch live-fire test of the BrahMos at its current maximum range of 180 miles (290 km) in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the Bay of Bengal.
Meanwhile, work is underway to increase the missile's range to 250 miles (400 km). This capability was demonstrated in a test-firing in September.
