Work Begins On Littoral Warfare Facility In Panama City

The U.S. Navy last week broke ground on a new warfare facility in Florida, reports WJHG TV, the NBC affiliate for Panama City, Fla.
The $12.5 million Littoral Warfare Systems Facility in Panama City will support the research, development, testing, evaluation, acquisition support, integration and certification of littoral warfare systems.
Construction is expected to be completed by Nov. 29, 2009.
