Work Begins On Future HMS Spey Offshore Patrol Vessel

BAE Systems has officially cut steel for the fifth offshore patrol vessel being built for the British Royal Navy in Scotland, reports the U.K. Ministry of Defense.
The milestone for the future HMS Spey was reached on Friday at the BAE Systems Govan shipyard on the Clyde River.
Outfitting work will be completed at the Scotstoun yard.
