Work Begins To Enrich Uranium To 60 Percent

The Iranian government says that it has launched work to produce uranium enriched to 60 percent purity, reports the Mehr New Agency (Tehran).

On Tuesday, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Seyed Abbas Araghchi announced the plans to step up enrichment work at the Natanz nuclear facility.

Araghchi is in Vienna for talks with the European Union and the P4+1 -- consisting of China, France, Russia, the U.K. and Germany -- on bringing the U.S. and Iran back into the 2015...
