Wiring Issues Halt Tiger Helicopter Program

The German military has halted its procurement of Tiger attack helicopters due to serious wiring problems with the aircraft, reports defense-aerospace.com.

The Defense Ministry said it has received 11 of the 80 Tigers it ordered from Eurocopter, but none has been found suitable for operational use or training.

Further deliveries were postponed until the problems have been resolved, said the ministry.
