The White House has released nearly $400 million in military aid for Ukraine after placing a hold on the funding in August, reports Politico.
The administration released $250 million in military aid under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative on Sept. 11, said Sen. Dick Durbin (D.-Ill.), the minority whip.
The senator had threatened to withhold about $5 billion of Pentagon funding if funds designated for Ukraine in fiscal 2020 were not released in a timely fashion, reported...
