The seventh and final New Zealand navy patrol ship ordered under the Project Protector program is due in Auckland, reports the New Zealand Press Agency.
HMNZS Wellington, a 280-foot (85-m) offshore patrol ship, left the Melbourne shipyard in Australia last week, but suffered from engine trouble that forced it to divert to Sydney.
After both engines were fixed, the vessel set sail, then had to return to port when the issues resurfaced.
