South Korea plans told hold a major civil defense drill this week, Defense News reports.
A dozen South Korean fighter jets will fly across the country on Wednesday to simulate airstrikes, said government officials. Border areas will also have simulated strikes by North Korean artillery.
Civilians will be directed into one of the 25,000 state-managed shelters or other underground facilities, said officials.
