The U.S. government is going to resume military aid to Bahrain, reports the New York Times.
The government on Monday said it would lift the hold that had been in place on security assistance to Bahrain's defense force and national guard, reported Reuters. The hold on equipment for the Interior Ministry will remain in effect.
The restrictions were imposed after Bahrain cracked down on Shi'ite-led demonstrations in 2011.
