Washington No Longer Acceptable Mediator In Peace Process, Says Abbas

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has formally declared that Palestinians will no longer accept the U.S. as a mediator in the Middle East peace process, reports the Guardian (U.K.).
Abbas made his comments on Wednesday at an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Istanbul, about a week after U.S. President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
