Washington To Back Arrow 3 Missile System

The United States has formally agreed with the Israeli Defense Ministry agreeing to provide complete funding for development and production of the Arrow 3 ballistic missile defense system, the Jerusalem Post reports.
The Arrow 3 is envisioned as a longer-range version of the current Arrow system, which will be capable of intercepting incoming missiles at higher altitudes and longer ranges.
The system could counter a possible Iranian missile attack.
