Warsaw Opts For NATO Ground Surveillance System

The Polish government has filed an application to join NATO's Alliance Ground Surveillance (AGS) program, reports the Defense Ministry.
Poland's application was submitted formally to NATO on Oct. 19 during a ministerial summit in Brussels.
Membership is expected to strengthen Poland's position within NATO structures and enhance cooperation with the 13 other members. according to a ministry release.
