Warfighting Training Needed In European Waters, Says Admiral

The head of U.S. Naval Forces Europe (NAVFOREUR) has urged more ships to be deployed to European waters this year, reports the Navy Times.

The European security situation has changed drastically over the last year and new threats must be dealt with by improving combat skills and partnerships with NATO allies, said Adm. Mark Ferguson in an interview last month.
