A rebel warlord wanted for crimes against humanity has surrendered to U.N. forces in the Democratic Republic of Congo, reports Al Jazeera (Qatar).
Ntabo Ntaberi Sheka, the founder of Nduma Defense of Congo (NDC) (also known as Mai Mai Sheka), give himself up on Wednesday to peacekeepers in the DRC's North Kivu region.
Sheka had been wanted by Congolese authorities, reported Reuters.
