During a visit by Mozambican Defense Minister Filipe Nyusi to China, the two governments vowed to increase their military cooperation, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
Nyusi met in Beijing on Thursday with Xu Caihou, the vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission and Defense Minister Liang Guanglie.
The Chinese government agreed to expand bilateral military cooperation, including enhancing the capabilities of Mozambique's armed forces, said Liang.
