The death toll from violence earlier this week in the Somali capital of Mogadishu has risen to at least 30, with as many as 100 wounded, the Voice of America News reports.
The casualties stemmed from a battle between Al-Shabaab militants and African Union peacekeepers (AMISOM), medical officials said. Some have accused the peacekeepers of using excessive force.
