Senior U.S. military leaders are pushing for a presence in Europe on a rotational basis, reports the Wall Street Journal.
The proposal anticipated that multiple U.S. brigades would operate in Europe at any particular time, increasing the number above current limits.
Decisions on the plan are expected "in the next couple of months," said Gen. Philip Breedlove during the Reagan National Defense Forum over the weekend in Simi Valley, Calif.
