Vice Adm. O'Hara Becomes No. 2 In Coast Guard

Vice Adm. Sally Brice O'Hara took over as vice commandant of the Coast Guard, succeeding Vice Adm. David Pekoske at a change-of-command ceremony Monday at Fort McNair in Washington, the Navy Times reports.

Brice O'Hara, 57, has been the deputy commandant for operations for the past two years. She has also commanded Coast Guard District Five, based in Portsmouth, Va., and Coast Guard District 14, based in Honolulu.
