Vessel Seized In Gulf Over Allegations Of Smuggling Diesel

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has seized a vessel in the Persian Gulf, claiming it was engaged in smuggling diesel fuel to the United Arab Emirates, reports Reuters, citing local media.
The vessel, which was carrying 66,000 gallons (250,000 liters) of diesel fuel, was seized near the greater Tunb island and the vessel’s 11 crewmembers were arrested, reported the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA).
