Meeting in Beijing on Tuesday, Chinese and Uzbek defense officials agreed to boost their mutual military ties, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
Gen. V. Makhmudov, the Uzbek military chief, discussed improvements in bilateral relations with Xu Caihou, the vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission.
Xu noted that their nations' relations have been developing strongly of late, including more exchanges in various military areas.
