The USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier has begun sea trials after six months of pierside upgrades and maintenance, the Navy Times reports.
The carrier left San Diego Tuesday after spending time at its home berth at Coronado Naval Base, Calif., officials said.
The carrier received systems upgrades, quality-of-life modernizations and other planned maintenance.
