USS North Dakota Sub Deploys, Recovers UUV

A U.S. Navy submarine has successfully launched and retrieved an unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) for the first time during a military operation, reports the Day (New London, Conn.).
The North Dakota Virginia-class submarine was deployed to the Mediterranean for two months and returned to base on Monday after testing UUV capabilities.
