The USS New Orleans has arrived in the Peruvian port of Callao as part of Amphibious-Southern Partnership Station (A-SPS) 2010 training, the Navy NewsStand reports.
The amphibious ship was accompanied by Amphibious Squadron 5, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 24 and other embarked units, Navy officials said.
