USN, USAF Award Initial Production Contract To Lockheed For Long-Range Anti-Ship Missiles

The U.S. Air Force and Navy have awarded Lockheed Martin a contract to begin production of the Long-Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM), reports the defense firm.
Announced on July 25, the $86.5 million deal, the first production award for the air-launched version of the LRASM, covers 23 missiles and engineering support.
