USAF Moves For JSTARS Replacement

The U.S. Air Force recently released the development request for proposal (RFP) for a program to replace the E-8 Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS), reports the Air Force News Service.

The proposal, issued on Dec. 28, covers all aspects of the system, including the airframe, radar, communication systems and battle management command-and-control suite, said the service.
